Cento App Privacy
Last updated on March 15, 2026
Cento Care is a service operated by FIRST TO SMILE HOLDINGS LTD (“Cento”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Statement explains how the Cento mobile app collects, uses, stores, and protects information about you when you use the app.
This Privacy Statement applies specifically to the Cento mobile app and its features, including manual tracking, device and platform integrations, and connected wellness services.
1. What the app is for
The Cento app is designed to help users track wellness-related information, such as activity, sleep, feelings, symptoms, and health signals including blood pressure.
The app is for wellness, education, and self-management purposes only. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or monitor any disease or medical condition. The app does not replace a doctor or other qualified healthcare professional. Always seek professional medical advice for diagnosis, treatment, or medical decisions.
2. Who can use the app
The app is intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the app.
3. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information when you use the app:
Information you provide directly
Name, email address, login details, and account information
Profile information such as age range, sex, height, weight, goals, and preferences
Information you manually log in the app, such as activity, mood, sleep, symptoms, blood pressure, notes, and other wellness or lifestyle entries
Messages or support requests you send to us
Information from connected platforms and services
If you choose to connect them, we may receive data from:
Apple Health / HealthKit
Android Health / Health Connect
Google Fit, where still supported or used by your device or account
Garmin Connect
Depending on the permissions you grant, this may include data such as:
Steps and activity
Workouts and exercise sessions
Distance, calories, heart rate, sleep, and related fitness or wellness data
Blood pressure or other health measurements made available through the connected platform
Device-related timestamps and metadata needed to sync and display your data
We only access the categories of data you authorise. You can revoke access at any time in your device or account settings.
Automatically collected technical information
App version, device type, operating system, language, time zone
Log data, crash reports, diagnostics, and basic usage information
Identifiers needed to keep your account secure and the app functioning
We do not use health data for advertising, profiling, or sale to data brokers.
4. How connected data works
If you connect Apple Health, Android Health / Health Connect, Google Fit, or Garmin Connect, the connection is optional and based on your permission.
When you connect one of these services:
the app reads only the data types you authorise
we use that data to display trends, summaries, logs, and wellness insights inside the app
disconnecting the integration stops future syncing, although data already imported into your Cento account may remain unless you ask us to delete it
Apple Health / HealthKit
Health data accessed through Apple Health is used only to provide and improve your experience in the Cento app. It is not used for advertising, marketing, or use-based data mining.
Android Health / Health Connect
Health Connect data is accessed only for the app’s wellness features and only where relevant to the app’s core functionality.
Google Fit
Where Google Fit is used, access is limited to the scopes and data you authorise. Google Fit APIs are being deprecated in 2026, and we may migrate Android integrations to Health Connect over time.
Garmin Connect
Where you connect Garmin Connect, data submitted through that integration is submitted to Cento, not to Garmin. Garmin is not responsible for how Cento handles that data. We do not sell, rent, or transfer Garmin user data except as necessary to provide the app, with your consent, or as required by law.
5. How we use your information
We use your information to:
create and manage your account
provide the app’s tracking, logging, syncing, and visualisation features
show your trends, summaries, history, and wellness insights
personalise your in-app experience
maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app
respond to support requests
comply with legal obligations
enforce our terms and protect the safety, rights, and integrity of users and the app
We may also use de-identified or aggregated information to understand product usage, improve features, and analyse performance, provided that such information does not reasonably identify you.
6. No sale of data and no advertising use of health data
We do not sell your personal data.
We do not use your health or fitness data for advertising, marketing, or cross-context behavioural advertising.
We do not share health data with data brokers.
We do not allow third parties to use your health data for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
7. When we may disclose information
We do not disclose your personal data or health data except in the following limited circumstances:
to service providers that help us operate the app, such as hosting, storage, analytics, customer support, security, and infrastructure providers, under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations
where you ask us to connect or sync with a third-party platform or service
if required by law, regulation, court order, or lawful government request
to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, Cento, or others
in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law
Where possible, we limit disclosures to what is necessary.
8. Legal basis for processing
Where UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or similar laws apply, we generally process personal data on the following bases:
performance of a contract, to provide the app and its features
legitimate interests, such as security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and app administration
consent, where required, including for connecting health platforms or processing certain health-related data
legal obligation, where we must comply with law
Where we process health-related data, we do so with your consent or another lawful basis permitted by applicable law.
9. Data retention
We keep your information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement, including to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your information within a reasonable period, unless we are required or permitted by law to keep certain records.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information, including access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, and security monitoring.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International data processing
Cento may process and store information in countries outside your home jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers under applicable law.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
access your information
correct inaccurate information

object to certain processing
request restriction of processing
receive a copy of certain data in portable form
You may also:
